Actress Jennifer Lawrence says working with female directors is a calming experience. The actress said this in front of Laila Neugabauer, the third woman director she worked with. Jennifer said that it makes sense to work in those films when there are women in the lead roles and there are no big fights.
‘It was unbelievable that toxic masculinity wasn’t around. It was refreshing to have a little break from it. Working with female directors was a realisation. It was calm and the best decisions.’
