On September 22, Mother See in Holy Etchmiatsin, under the chairmanship of H.E. Karekin the Second Catholicos of All Armenians, a meeting of the Supreme Spiritual Council was held, during which the issue of holding the blessing ceremony of Saint Myron on October 1 was discussed.
Taking into account the difficult situation created around Artsakh, a decision was made to postpone the Muron blessing and related events.
It was also decided to declare October 1 as a nationwide prayer day for Artsakh, on the occasion of which the Mother See in St. Etchmiatsin and in all the churches of Armenia and the Diaspora will celebrate St. A special order of prayer will be performed during the liturgy.
