Microblogging service Twitter is working on a new feature that will allow users to publish large materials using media. About it informed social network owner Elon Musk on his Twitter, explaining that it will be possible to publish articles and even books. The new feature will be called Articles instead of Notes.
Microblogging serviceTwitter continues to transform into a full-fledged social network: Twitter Blue users can already post tweets up to 10 thousand characters (regular users can write tweets of 280 characters). With the advent of the “Articles” function, users will be able to publish even more voluminous materials.
Other innovations being made on Twitter include the ability to pay verified users for ads, and the development of a video app for smart TVs.
Formerly Similarweb service toldthat Twitter traffic has fallen by 5% since the launch of Meta’s rival Threads app (described as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
