An Italian team of doctors operated on the British princess Kate Middleton in London in January, sensationally reported the Milan weekly “Gente”. It is one of the best medical centers in Italy in specific areas of oncology. Scambia is one of the most famous names internationally and often collaborates with his colleagues abroad, including in the UK. In the days following the video in which Kate opened up about her illness, the media interviewed Scambia. Then he said that

The weekly claims it has information that, despite official assurances from Buckingham Palace that the king is responding well to therapy, “he is unwell, even very unwell”. And he argues with the fact that news about the health of the royal family is very often embargoed by the British media, so as not to compromise their relationship with him. That is why the news often comes from foreign media.
