Monte Urano, Italy – December 21, 2025 – Students from the itet Carducci-Galilei of Fermo achieved double success in a recent photography competition focused on environmental awareness. Two students were awarded prizes for their work exploring the relationship between humanity and nature.

The jury, comprised of expert photographers and representatives from the Municipality of Monte Urano, awarded prizes in three categories: “Virtuous Example,” recognizing positive and sustainable actions; “Negative impact,” for images documenting harmful behaviors; and “Artistic quality and originality,” for creative and technical merit. Winners received a 150 euro shopping voucher redeemable at local businesses.
The school’s participation was coordinated by teachers Alessio From Buò and Jacopo Evangelista, who guided students through a study of the relationship between humans and the environment through the medium of photography, enhancing their technical, expressive, and critical skills.

The awards obtained reward the commitment, creativity and expressive maturity demonstrated throughout the entire journey.”
