Ukraine’s 47th Mechanized Brigade released a video showing its soldiers destroying a Russian infantry fighting vehicle (IPV). They used the American BVP Bradley for this. “And it was only thanks to the drones,” the Kyiv Post website quoted a member of the reconnaissance unit as saying.

In the video, Russian infantrymen can be seen jumping out of the vehicle as it begins to drive away. Ukrainian soldiers then open fire from a Bradley vehicle and stop the Russian equipment. It will catch fire after continuous hits.
After viewing the footage, a Ukrainian scout praised the “thoughtful and coordinated” work of his colleagues, who first detected the Russian airdrop and then guided the Bradley to attack, for the Kyiv Post server. According to him, the crew in the American vehicle alone would not be able to detect and hit the Russian infantry vehicle due to the considerable distance.
Aerial reconnaissance thus played a key role in helping Bradley operators to target and destroy a ground-only moving target. Such a target is one of the most difficult to hit on the battlefield. “It is almost impossible to prove it,” a Ukrainian officer described the situation to the Kyiv Post.
The Ukrainian ground forces did not specify what the fate of the crew of the Russian combat vehicle was. The Kyiv Post says it could not independently verify the date and location of the video. Ukrainian soldiers claimed the clash took place near Russian-occupied Avdijivka.
