After the recent sale of the splendid Château de la Garoupe at Cap d’Antibes, confiscated from a Russian oligarch, justice is attacking the super yacht Stefania. Almost new, the 41 m long craft, built in 2021, will be auctioned on January 25 at the Antibes Yachting Club by the justice commissioner De Baecque & Associés. All this at the request of the Agency for the Management and Recovery of Seized and Confiscated Assets (Agrasc).

Traditionally based in the town, this ultra-modern looking boat with its golden aluminum hull was intercepted a few months ago by Italian police according to media in that country. The transalpine law enforcement agencies responded to the request of the French authorities, who were very discreet on the subject.

“Details have never been seen on a yacht before”

The targeted owner is believed to be a wealthy Belarusian financier involved in a money laundering network in Europe. And which, according to specialists, had good taste since the new buyer will be able to enjoy large outdoor terraces, white marble as the floor of the main deck, a jacuzzi and an oversized swimming pool of 4.5 tonnes. “Many details, such as its railings with glass inserts or its transparent flagpole, have never been seen on a yacht before,” specifies the auction house.

The Stefania, apparently “environmentally friendly”, but still equipped with 29,600 liter fuel tanks, can accommodate up to 10 people in five luxurious suites with private bathrooms. The height of billionaire chic, “a real wood-burning fireplace warms the large living room, under 2.2 m high ceilings. »

If this sale is officially titled “So that crime does not pay”, it will nevertheless be necessary to pay dearly, very dearly, to afford the ship estimated at a minimum of between 8 and 10 million euros.
