Akash Chopra has suggested that Ravindra Jadeja could be included in the A + category in the BCCI’s annual payroll list.

The BCCI divides Indian cricketers into A +, A, B and C categories and publishes pay contracts every year. Accordingly, the BCCI has released the annual contract list for this year.
BCCI Annual Pay Contract List:
The players will be divided into 4 categories namely A +, A, B and C and will be paid a salary of Rs 7 crore, Rs 5 crore, Rs 3 crore and Rs 1 crore per annum respectively.
Captain Rohit Sharma, vice-captain Jaspreet Bhumra and Virat Kohli are the only three in the A + division. Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, Mohammad Shami and Rishabh Pund are in the A division.
Akash Chopra dissatisfied:
Akash Chopra has suggested that all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, who has been India’s match-winner in all three Tests, ODIs and T20s, should be included in the A + division. Akash Chopra has expressed dissatisfaction with the non-inclusion of Jadeja in the A + category, saying he hopes the BCCI will include Jadeja in the A + category in next year’s pay deal.
