Islamabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. This was his first visit after the removal in 2019 of Article 370, which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. PM Modi unveiled development projects worth more than Rs 6400 crore. After the removal of Article 370, development related work is being done continuously in Kashmir, seeing which the people of PoK are angry at Pakistan. PM Modi is engaged in the development of Jammu and Kashmir. When people in Pakistan occupied Kashmir were asked about this, their inner pain came to the fore. Suhaib Chaudhary of Pakistan’s Real Entertainment TV talked to the people of POK. Here people said that the government has fired many people from jobs. It was also shown that demonstrations are taking place in PoK regarding this. One person cursed the government and said that not even Rs 5 worth of development work has reached the villages. Along with this he said that flour is becoming expensive and there is no electricity in the houses. When Suhaib compared Jammu and Kashmir and PoK, people said that we are far behind.
What did POK people say on Jammu and Kashmir?
A man named Raja Jamil said, ‘It will take a lot of time for us to compete with them (Jammu and Kashmir). We cannot compare with them. They are far ahead of us. India has created a lot in what we call ‘slave Kashmir’. One person said that the state is the mother, but here we are being thrown out of jobs. Our earnings have also been snatched away.
Inflation at its peak in POK
One person said that the PM of ‘Azad Jammu Kashmir’ should also see the forests of India. Another person said that onion is being sold at Rs 300 per kg. There is no flour available there. A person from POK said that the people of Indian Kashmir get cheap electricity. Whereas the government of Pakistan gives us our own electricity at Rs 75 per unit. Another person said that unemployment is such that people are hungry for two-three days and are not able to fill their stomachs.
