The pact in which Javier Milei obtained the support of Patricia Bullrich, Mauricio Macri and the PRO machinery intended to shore up his chances in the runoff against Sergio Massa, included the formation of a table with a single objective: to strengthen the inspection apparatus of La Libertad Avanza (LLA).
A number was quickly placed there: between 130 and 135 thousand prosecutors to form an army capable of guarding the libertarian votes in the 104 thousand tables throughout the country. The goal was also set to have 17,000 attorney generals for the 17,000 educational establishments that will function as voting headquarters.

The proposal had to do with what happened in the elections of October 22, when in the space led by Milei doubts were sown about the number of prosecutors provided by the unionist Luis Barrionuevo and, in addition, self-criticism was raised about the organization : There were quite a few who, behind closed doors, reported that there were too many prosecutors in some schools and, on the contrary, they were lacking in others.
But that seems to be a matter of judgment, they now suggest from the different forces that make up the electoral agreement. “We have everything pretty much covered. We have been heading this issue well,” one of the leaders who make up the working group told TN. And for the first time, after initial reluctance, he dares to whitewash the number of prosecutors willing to collaborate on December 19: “We have between 120,000 and 130,000.” “Everything is very organized, advanced, we are going to be fine,” they acknowledge.
Until a few days ago, LLA stated that its body of prosecutors was made up of between 50,000 and 80,000 volunteers, many of them with little experience and who, according to PRO leaders, made “several mistakes” in October.

That regiment would have been reduced these days to about 30 thousand who will be called again for the runoff, and on which work is being done on a “professionalization” plan, especially for the counting of votes.
As TN learned, the force led by Macri and Bullrich would now provide between 70,000 and 80,000 volunteers. The rest of the payroll necessary to reach the intended number would be tax payments. In this way, the number of between 120 and 130 thousand prosecutors is reached, key to having one per table and educational establishment.
When consulted by this media, another leader acknowledged that the concern of the libertarians does not refer only to a question of the number of members of the control operation, but that they also pay attention to the performance of the rival machinery in that sense. “The PJ apparatus is going to be at its full capacity,” he predicted.

There are alarms going off about the group of municipalities in the Buenos Aires suburbs and interior, and the provinces in which inspection must be improved.
