Jay-Z Wraps 30 Tour With Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre and Too Short

Jay-Z wrapped up his 30th-anniversary concert series on October 24, 2026, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, capping the night with surprise appearances from West Coast rap royalty Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Too Short.

The star-studded finale marked the end of the Jay-Z 30 tour series, a yearlong celebration commemorating three decades since the release of his debut album, Reasonable Doubt, on June 25, 1996, alongside the 25th anniversary of his 2001 LP, The Blueprint.

West Coast Icons Join the SoFi Stadium Finale

As Hovi Baby wrapped up on opening night, the artist looked out over 70,000 fans packing the Inglewood venue and remarked that he had been away too long. Stepping onto the stage at approximately 9:25 p.m., the 25-time Grammy winner opened the evening wearing his signature New York Yankees cap and sunglasses for The Watcher 2. He wasted no time paying homage to local hip-hop history by blending his opening track with Too Short’s anthem “Blow the Whistle”, bringing the Oakland-born rapper out to perform it live.

Prior to these Southern California dates, his last solo headlining show in the region took place at the Forum in December 2017, followed by a joint trek with Beyoncé at the Rose Bowl in September 2018.

Later in the evening, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre joined forces for a run of West Coast classics that included Nuthin’ But a ‘G’ Thang, Murder Was the Case, Still D.R.E., The Next Episode, and California Love.

The setlist across the limited run also honored the legacy of the late Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle. During performances of On to the Next One and Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)—which features a sample from the musical Annie—the rapper incorporated elements of Hussle’s Hussle & Motivate and Last Time That I Checc’d, while a portrait of Hussle filled the video screen and the headliner referred to him as Nip the great.

Dr. Dre, I grew up obviously a fan of him and Snoop. You know, this is Dr. Dre coming off [of] leaving Death Row. I knew where he was trying to go ‘cause I’ve been there a couple times with Kingdom Come and those things. So, he’s trying to [say], ‘I’m leaving this place, and I want to mature.’

Jay-Z Warns Fans About Artificial Intelligence

During a performance of Encore, Jay-Z paused to address social media posts and online rumors questioning ticket sales and crowd sizes at SoFi Stadium, warning the audience about the evolving dangers of misinformation in the age of artificial intelligence.

People will tell you that nobody was in here tonight, but you got eyes. You can see. People will tell you that the music wasn’t great, but you got ears. You gotta understand, you gotta question everything. This world with AI and everything, it’s been going on forever. They called it propaganda before. But now, the technology has caught up and people are tricked. A lot of tricknology for us… Make sure you question everything you feel.

Family Appearances Shape Night One

The two-night SoFi Stadium stand opened on October 23, 2026, marking the artist’s first solo headlining show in Southern California since December 2017. Night one featured a very different guest list, highlighted by his 14-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, who accompanied her father on piano for The Story of O.J. and Dead Presidents.

Following her performance, the headliner asked the audience to make a heavenly noise for her, playfully miming a bow before she walked over for a hug and waved to the crowd.

Scarface joined the stage for This Can’t Be Life and the Geto Boys classic Mind Playing Tricks on Me, while DJ Khaled and John Legend closed out the opening night performance with God Did. In the audience, members of the reunited Destiny’s Child—including Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams—alongside Rihanna, cheered on the performances.
