AIADMK co-ordinator O.K. The Arumugasami Commission has sent a summons to Panneer Selvam.
Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has demanded an inquiry into Jayalalithaa’s death. Panneerselvam carried out the Dharmayutham. When the AIADMK merged, the Arumugasami Commission of Inquiry was set up to investigate Jayalalithaa’s death. So far, the commission has investigated 154 people.
Meanwhile, O. Panneer Selvam, the then Deputy Chief Minister, was summoned several times but did not appear before the commission. In this case, the trial was adjourned for three years due to a court case. There was an expectation as to when the Commission would investigate O. Panneerselvam as the investigation has now resumed.
In that regard, the Arumusamy Commission has summoned O. Panneerselvam and Sasikala’s brother-in-law Princess to appear in person on the 21st. So far O. Panneer Selvam has been summoned 9 times. He is expected to appear before the commission on the 21st of this month.
