It was announced that Trisha, Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Joju George, Gautham Karthik and many others will be acting in it. The shooting started in Chennai and took place for a few days. Later, Kamal Haasan left for America due to his own work.
