Jeddah has been named host city for the next Club World Cup.
The 2023 Club World Cup will be held in the Saudi city of Jeddah, world football’s governing body FIFA announced on Monday. The decision was taken following a visit by a FIFA delegation to Jeddah last week to assess ongoing preparations for the tournament.

The tournament, which runs from December 12-22, will take place in Saudi Arabia for the first time, as was announced in February.
