The new version e-Hybrid of
Jeep Avenger πmated exclusively to a dual-clutch automatic transmission and combined with three trim levels.
THE Jeep launched two months ago for the European market one new petrol engine version of Avenger backed by mild hybrid powertrain and can drive, in mild traffic conditions, the new B-SUV purely electrically.

In particular, the new mild hybrid drive system of Jeep and the Stellantis Group consists of a new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine that operates on the Miller thermodynamic cycle and produces 100 hp and 205 Nm, an electric motor of 29 hp and 55 Nmand a 48 volt battery.
The mild hybrid drive system is exclusively combined with the new six-speed e-DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission;and in its shell is the electric motor that can drive the Avenger purely electrically for one kilometer in urban driving conditions.
According to the manufacturer, the new Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid with the 1.2T MHEV accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in 10.9 seconds. and compared to its conventional technology counterpart, it consumes 15% less fuel (4.9-5.1 lt./100 km). Emissions vary depending on the equipment version, from 111 to 114 g/km CO2.

As is easily understood, the new mild hybrid drive system allows the engine to be switched off when decelerating at a speed of 30 km/h and below, while when parking it can only operate on battery electricity.
The equipment levels with which the new MHEV version of the Jeep Avenger can be combined are three: Longitude, Altitude and Summit. The comfort, safety and connectivity equipment of the base version is not lacking, while the Selec Terrain system is not absent which takes care of maximizing traction depending on the range of motion and the system Hill Descent Control for controlled descent.
The starting price of the new e-Hybrid version of the Jeep Avenger it is set at 26,490 euros and is covered by a 4-year warranty for its mechanical parts. In addition, it does not burden its owner with annual traffic fees and can enter the Ring every day.

Finally, it is worth noting that the range of the basic 1.2 Turbo engine version with 100 hp and the six-speed manual transmission, now consists of two equipment versions with a starting price of 23,990 euros.
