Jerry Keane Jnr.’s passing was announced with deep regret by his parents, Beatrice and Jerry, and his siblings: Nicola, Lisa, Alma, Sara, Shauna, and Kevin. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul, Martin, David, John, Kieran, and Shawna, and also numerous nephews and nieces including Nathan, Dylan, Bríonna, Óonagh, Rían, Áda, Molly, Ultan, and Óran. The family also acknowledged the love and support of his godmother, auntie Una, and aunts Ann, Eileen, Helena, and Ena, along with cousins Niall and Paul Keane and their families, and extended family members within the Kilroy, Towey, Connolly, McLoughlin, Hanley, and McDermott families.

A statement released by the family expressed gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the Mayo Hospice staff.The family requested privacy during this difficult time, noting that the house would be strictly private.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing will take place at St. joseph’s Funeral Home in Ballinrobe (F31XV63) on Friday evening, January 2nd, beginning at 5:00 PM, with removal at 7:00 PM to the family home.

The funeral cortege will arrive at St. Mary’s Church in Ballinrobe on Saturday morning, January 3rd, at 11:00 AM for a Requiem Mass at 11:30 AM. Following the mass, the funeral will proceed to the new cemetery in Ballinrobe (F31FE81).
