Jincheon-gun provides gifts to medical benefit recipients during general health checkups. Jincheon-gun announced on the 24th that it will hold an event to give gifts to medical benefit recipients who undergo a general health checkup until May 31st.

This year’s general health checkup recipients are those born in even years between the ages of 20 and 64. The cost of the checkup is free, and the checkup items vary by gender and age.

Common checkup items include physical measurements, chest radiography, blood test, urinalysis, and oral checkup, and items such as cholesterol test and hepatitis B test are added depending on gender and age.

General health checkups can be received at local checkup institutions (Seongsim Thoracic Surgery, Soksiwon Internal Medicine Clinic, Yonsei Good Medical Center, Jangsarang Joint Internal Medicine Clinic, Jungang Jeil Hospital, Seoul Bareun Internal Medicine Clinic, and Innovative Woori Hospital) and designated checkup institutions nationwide.

Medical benefit recipients who have undergone a general health checkup during the event period will visit the Family Health Team on the 2nd floor of the Jincheon-gun Public Health Center with their ID card and will receive a ‘3-piece cutting board set’ or ‘3-stage automatic umbrella’ for the first 50 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information about national health checkups, please contact the National Health Insurance Corporation or the Jincheon County Public Health Center.

An official at the county public health center said, “We hope that this year’s eligible patients will get a checkup so that prevention and appropriate treatment can be achieved through early checkups,” and added, “We will encourage local residents to actively receive health checkups through various promotional activities.”

Meanwhile, the Jincheon-gun Public Health Center will conduct general checkups and national cancer mobile screenings for residents of towns and villages for 4 hours from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Gwanghyewon Public Health Center on May 27th and the Jincheon-gun Public Health Center on May 28th.
