Jingyu Feiyang Badminton Club Secures Championship Victory in Jiangsu Province

Jiangsu Province’s Jingjiang Secondary Vocational School’s “Jingyu Feiyang” Badminton Club dominated the 2025 Jingjiang Primary and Secondary School Badminton Competition, claiming both the team championship and individual accolades in men’s singles.

The “Jingyu Feiyang” Badminton Club of Jingjiang Secondary Vocational School in Jiangsu Province successfully defended its position as a leading force in regional school sports, achieving a remarkable victory at the competition held on September 27, 2025. The team’s performance underscores the school’s commitment to holistic education, encompassing physical as well as academic development.

Dominance in Men’s Singles

The men’s singles event was particularly noteworthy, witnessing an all-school final. Cao Xu, a student from Class 1 of the 23 Electromechanical program, and Bao Wenyuan, from Class 23 of the Robotics program, both five-year higher vocational students, showcased their exceptional skills, ultimately securing the championship and runner-up positions respectively. This result demonstrates “absolute dominance in this project,” according to a school release.

Strong Performance Across Categories

While men’s singles was a standout, the team also achieved success in other categories. Zhu Xuanying, a five-year vocational student from Class 25 E-commerce, earned a second-place finish in women’s singles. Fellow student, Zhu Jiangsu, from Class 24 Painting Vocational Education College Entrance Examination, secured fourth place in the same event.

Dedicated Training and Coaching

The team’s success is attributed to a rigorous, one-month scientific training plan developed by the coaching team comprised of Miao Yuxia, Chen Yong, and Su Mi. This dedicated preparation, combined with the athletes’ hard work and the support of the behind-the-scenes team, proved to be a winning formula.

“This competition is a vivid reflection of our school’s long-term and in-depth implementation of the education policy of ‘simultaneous development of five educations’,” a senior official stated. The school intends to continue its vigorous support for sports development, prioritizing the physical and mental well-being of its students.

The achievements of the “Jingyu Feiyang” Badminton Club serve as an inspiration for all students, encouraging them to pursue excellence in their chosen fields and strive to become well-rounded talents for the new era.
