“I never said anything about not helping Ukraine or supporting its defense. I was one of the first to speak at a benefit for Ukraine, I condemn the war and of course I feel sorry for the people there,” Krampol said to Lightning.
“I spent three and a half months in Ukraine myself when Otakar Vávra and I shot a film there Sokolovo. We were in frequent contact with the locals and they were impeccable. I was only stating that it seems excessive to me when Ukrainian flags hang at the National Museum, trams are painted in their colors and it pops out at me everywhere I go. Everything should have its measure. Maybe if the money this costs was sent to Ukraine, it would help more.” adds the actor.
