James Madison Football Announces Future Schedules with UNLV, Ohio and More Through 2035
James Madison University (JMU) has solidified its football schedule well into the future, announcing completed contracts for home-and-home series against UNLV and Ohio, alongside agreements with several other programs. The deals extend the Dukes’ non-conference schedule through the 2035 season, signaling a commitment too competitive matchups and program growth.
The newly announced series with UNLV will kick off on September 25,2027,at bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg,with the return game slated for August 31,2030,in Las Vegas. This contest will mark the furthest west the JMU football program has ever traveled, according to the announcement. the Dukes have previously competed on the road at Weber State in 2021 and utah State in 2023.
JMU will also face Ohio in a home-and-home series, beginning with a road game on september 16, 2028, in Athens, O
