for quality assurance international cooperation (w/m/d)
Your tasks:
In a team with a colleague, you will carry out the following management tasks:
Developing and controlling the fiduciary management of public funding for international cooperation in accordance with funding regulations as well as ensuring the correctness of corresponding procedures and payment transactions. Shaping cooperation with public donors and cooperation partners as well as with partners from the South and Southeast Europe within the framework of applicable funding guidelines. Representing the department in policy and dialogue processes Development cooperation in decision-making bodies within and outside the office Initiation and control of strategic and innovative measures and processes for quality assurance and quality development of international cooperation at Misereor Development and control of methods and procedures for reflection and learning processes in development cooperation as well as corresponding planning and control instruments Advice and support for the Board of directors in questions of quality assurance and resource management in international cooperation Personnel management, personnel selection and promotion as well as design of cooperation and efficient work processes in the department and across departments Responsible participation in the collegial management bodies of the company in overarching tasks and in the further development of strategies and concepts Participation in education, public relations and lobbying work
Your profile:
Completed university degree in a subject relevant to the task (preferably economics or law) High professional and methodological competence, in particular in-depth knowledge of public funding law Several years of professional experience in (church) development cooperation, ideally in the area of funding policy issues or in the global southExperience in personnel management as well as in the coordination of interdisciplinary teams. Business fluent knowledge of English and at least one other foreign language (French, Spanish or Portuguese). Strong communication and negotiation skills as well as a committed and competent demeanor. Consistency with the goals of the churches and church development cooperation
