The summer opened a merit contest to assign 46 professional-level positions. Some of the vacancies correspond to teaching staff and others to administrative positions.
This is the “Open merit contest to definitively provide vacant jobs at the professional level of the administrative career of the University of Antioquia”.

According to Nancy Carmona Cardona, coordinator of the Contest, “the elected will join directly to the Alma materfor their achievements, without running the risk of being removed, except for non-compliance with their duties, and with the possibility of promotion based on merits and competencies.”
Please note, interested parties must make the payment of $65.000 in order to be taken into account for this job opportunity.
Finally, the coordinator recommended that interested people visit the site specially set up by the University of Antioquia to consult the vacancies offered.
“Before registering, applicants must download the Rectoral Resolution and know for which calls they meet the minimum requirements, so as not to be inadmissible from the beginning of the process,”
explained Carmona Cardona.
General contest requirements:
- Be a Colombian citizen.
- Accept in full the rules established in Rectoral Resolution 50838 of November 28, 2023.
- Comply with the minimum requirements of the job you choose, which are part of the Rectoral Resolution.
- Make the payment of participation fees for registration.
- Not having been convicted of crimes in Colombia in accordance with article 122 of the Political Constitution or in another State, except for political or culpable crimes, according to Colombian law.
- The other requirements established in current legal and regulatory standards.
