Joey Jordison, Slipknot drummer has died at 46

The drummer Joey Jordison, founder of the US heavy metal band Slipknot, died on Monday 26 July “peacefully in his sleep” at the age of 46. Jordison was one of the original members of Slipknot, founding the band in 1995 along with percussionist Shawn Crahan and bassist Paul Gray. The first album released in 1999, `Slipknot, went platinum within a year. The second album, “Iowa” (2001), was an even more resounding success. The band has sold millions of albums around the world and won a Grammy. Jordison played in the group from 1995 to 2013, then farewell.
