HoFormer Bollywood actress Kate Moss has spoken out in favor of the actor in a defamation suit against Hollywood stars Johnny Depp and Amber Head. Depp was in love with model Kate Moss from 1994 to 1998. Head alleged that Moss had been pushed out of the Depp Convent by a Hollywood actor. Moss, however, denied the allegations outright. She said it was true she had fallen but that it was Depp who had assured her of medical attention that day.
As he stepped out of the room, he slipped and fell down the corner. I cried out loud. Depp heard my voice and ran to pick me up and lead me into the room. And provided medical assistance. “Depp never kicked or shoved me,” Moss said.
Moss made the remarks via video conference. After that the scene of Depp looking at Moss and smiling went viral on social media.
The trial of the defamation case between the two has been going on for more than a month with allegations and counter-allegations.
The problems began when Head wrote an article in the Washington Post about domestic violence. Depp was later dropped from the film industry by major production companies, including Disney. Depp then filed a $ 50 million defamation suit against Head. However, lawyers argued that Head’s article was not about Depp. This was not taken at face value by the court. As a result, the legal battle between the two intensified. Head demanded that Depp cancel the defamation suit against him. But the court rejected it.
Depp and Head were married in 2015. They separated in 2017.
