According to sources who comment on the details of the meeting between the two, things in this vein join other messages that Gantz and his people recently received from coalition officials, who were looking into the possibility of his joining the government.
Currently, Gantz responds negatively to those attempts, but they are likely to continue.
Gantz’s office responded: “The chairman of the state camp, Benny Gantz, maintains contacts with many members of the Knesset in the coalition and in the opposition, and even more so in recent times in order to stop the threat of a coup d’état and fratricidal war in Israeli society. Beyond that, we do not refer to the content of the personal meetings held by Gantz.”
