The former president of Uruguay, José Mujica, revealed in the last few hours his recent diagnosis of esophageal cancer.
The 88-year-old leader of the South American nation shared that during a visit to the Casmu Assistance Center last Friday, doctors detected a tumor in his esophagus.
“In my life, more than once the grim reaper was hanging around the cot, but she continued to shepherd me. This time it seems to me that he comes with the scythe at the ready, and we will see what happens.”said Mujica.

“As long as I can, I will continue to be active and entertained with vegetables. As long as the vibe holds, I’m going to continue.”said.
“I want to convey to the girls and boys that life is beautiful, but it wears out and falls. The point is to start over every time one falls, and if there is anger, transform it into hope. “No one is saved alone”added the former president.
