Almost two thousand companies, 1,900 to be precise, have already benefited from the aid launched by the entrepreneur Juan Roig through Marina de Empresas and wich was articulated through the Alcem-se initiative, endowed with 25 million with the aim of economically supporting the SMEs, businesses, startups and self-employed workers affected by the DANA of 29 October.
Once the admission period closed (the platform was active from 12 to 25 November), a total of 6,634 forms were received and the Marina de Empresas team – made up of around a hundred people – had already called 5,400 candidates to start the process. A process which, according to some of the professionals who have benefited from these donations, is rapid and surrounded at all times by experts.
So far, 1,900 companies have benefited from the respective aid. This translates into 14.5 million euros, according to information provided by Marina de empresas, which is the entrepreneurship and innovation hub promoted by Roig and composed of EDEM Escuela de Empresarios, Lanzadera and Angels.
The initiative consists of contributions of up to 10,000 euros in non-repayable funds so that professionals who have lost everything or have been seriously affected by DANA can get back on their feet and continue their entrepreneurial and professional activities.
