This conference, held as part of the activities of the CSPJ, was an opportunity to review the strategies, efforts and initiatives deployed at the national level to support digital developments in relation to judicial action and combat mechanisms. against electronic crime upstream and downstream.

This meeting was marked by interventions by judges, managers and experts representing several institutions involved in this field, in particular the General Directorate of Information Systems Security (DGSSI), under the National Defense Administration. , the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) and the Court of Cassation.

On this occasion, the head of the CSPJ’s Modernization and Information Systems Unit, Youssef Oustouh, specified that this conference is part of the initiatives undertaken by the Council to implement the 2021-2026 strategic plan, in particular with regard to the area of ​​digitalization and digital transformation to which the Council attaches great importance.

The Council’s action in this area is carried out by following digital developments on two levels, the first being internal infrastructures, through the creation of an integrated system focused on the judge, and based on the construction of a base of data allowing the electronic management of judges’ situations, added Mr. Oustouh in a statement to MAP.

As for the second level, it consists of supporting the digital transformation of courts by providing computer software to help judges write their judgments and manage judicial work at court level.

For his part, the head of the Strategy Implementation Monitoring Service at the DGSSI, Yassine Raissouni, emphasized, during his intervention, the significant progress made by the Kingdom in the field of security. cybernetics, which allowed it to improve its ranking in the Information and Communication Technology Development Index (IDI) of the United Nations International Telecommunications Union.

Focusing on “information systems security strategies”, he specified that the DGSSI is preparing an updated version of the national cyber security strategy, on the basis of two diagnostic studies carried out to assess the risks. cybernetics and the maturity of national capabilities in this area.

According to Mr. Raissouni, this strategy is based on four axes, namely governance and the legal and institutional framework, strengthening security in the national cyber space and its capacity to resist risks, developing cyber capabilities and raising awareness. in this area, as well as regional and international cooperation.

For his part, the head of the Office against crime linked to new technologies, under the National Brigade of the Judicial Police (BNPJ), Mohammed Sassi, highlighted the significant efforts made by the DGSN in the field of fight against crimes linked to new technologies.

He specified in this regard that the DGSN has adopted for several years a global strategy to strengthen its capacities in the fight against computer crime, both at the national and international level, adding that it is an integrated strategy. based on planning, human resources, logistics and awareness.

Under the slogan “The rigor of judicial performance, reflection of the credibility of ethical commitment”, the CSPJ participates in the 29th edition of SIEL through the holding of nine conferences and communication events, as well as the presentation of the main publications of the Council and its skills, activities and achievements.

The 29th edition of SIEL, organized until May 19 by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, sees the participation of 743 exhibitors from 48 countries, offering 100,000 titles, in three million copies, with 241 cultural debates.
