The Ministry of Justice announced today, Tuesday, the launch of the service of opening a personal status file through the electronic portal of Ur.
The Ministry of Justice stated in a statement received by the (INA), that “based on the directives of the Minister of Justice, Khaled Shawani, to move towards digital transformation, the Execution Department, in cooperation with the Judicial Planning Department, and in coordination with the National Data Center in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, announced the launch of the service of opening executive files via the national electronic platform (UR) in the Directorate of Execution of the session, which includes rulings including a ruling on seeing a minor, a ruling on obedience, a ruling on delivering furniture, alimony, the right to residence, compensation for arbitrary divorce, the delivery of a minor, the deferred dowry, and the cost of custody.”
Director General of the Execution Department, Rasti Yousef Hamid, said, according to the statement, “This service will enable citizens to apply for the aforementioned services for Sharia rulings by accessing the “Aur” electronic platform for government services and filling in the fields with the name and residential address information,” noting that “the ruling decision should be attached, then the service name, service description, service implementation steps, and required documents should be selected, in addition to the possibility of inquiring in the frequently asked questions field.”
The Director General added that “this step is the first of its kind, which includes the launch of nine services related to personal status,” noting that “the applicant will receive a text message (SMS) via the phone number listed in the application, where he will be informed of the date of his visit to the department to complete the procedures and complete his application as quickly as possible.”
