Thrissur: The K-Swift bus which caused an accident at Kunnamkulam was taken into police custody. The driver was questioned by police. The bus was taken into police custody in the incident where a man was killed in a road accident in Kunnamkulam. Paraswamy, a native of Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu, died in the accident.
The accident took place at Kunnamkulam junction on Thursday morning. Paraswamy, who was crossing the road, was first hit by a pickup van. The K-Swift bus that came after Paraswamy’s body fell on the road and got on. Attempts were made to rush him to the hospital but he died on the way.
The first reports were that Paraswamy was killed when a K-Swift bus collided with him. However, CCTV footage showed the K-Swift bus crashing into his body 30 seconds after the pickup van crashed.
