On July 8, Biden said he was certain that “the advance of the Taliban in Afghanistan can be stopped”. Even prophetic on the contrary: Kabul is not Saigon.
“There is no chance you will see people being evacuated from the roof of the US embassy in Afghanistan,” he said.
