The family alleges that the superior officer used obscenity at the station and when asked about it, behaved in such a way as to cause emotional distress. Former ASI KK Baiju of Kalamasery Police Station went missing last Thursday evening. Kochi Hill Palace Police found him from Bengaluru during the subsequent investigation.

The family alleges that last April, the inspector at Kalamasery station said obscenities and when asked about it, he behaved in a way that caused mental distress. The family said that two weeks ago, Baiju was arrested for no reason and transferred to the traffic station. On June 22, they had lodged a complaint with the DGP against the mental torture of the superior officer.

However, it is alleged that he was even ready to take the statement after one and a half months. The family also says that the lack of action on the complaint made Baiju mentally weak.
