But they are full members of artists association. Voted and elected. And because of this, senior artists and real artists also do not want to come to the association. In fact, once given full membership, it is difficult to remove.’
He said, ‘I mean, let them stay. Be a partner. Don’t have the right to vote. They become hugely important during elections simply because they have the right to vote. All of them are given money at the time of voting. They take money from all parties. I can’t actually mention the number. I want to stay away. When I started talking about these things, others tried to keep me away. I don’t want to worry about these anymore.’
Those who do not have jobs and who do not qualify to be members of this association are more interested in the association. Ilyas Kanchan said that they are more powerful.
He also said, ‘Those who are supposed to be associate members, their interest is more. Extremely high. This organization is their main identity. Real artists are much less interested than collaborators. Real artists do not need the identity of the association. Everyone already knows them by one name. The association is rather lit-discussed because of the real artists.’
