Madambakkam panchayat president was hacked to death by a petrol bomb near Manimangalam.
Venkatesan (45) hails from Madambakkam area under Manimangalam police station in Kanchipuram district. He is holding the post of Madambakkam Panchayat Council President. In this case, it is known that he received a call on his phone last night. Then Venkatesan went near Raghavendra Nagar Bridge. At that time, the mysterious persons who were hiding there attacked Venkatesan by throwing petrol bombs.
Venkatesan, who was seriously injured and fell down, was killed by a mysterious gang of 6 people with a knife and a sickle, and then ran away.
Manimangalam police went to the spot after receiving the information, recovered Venkatesan’s body and sent Crompet to the government hospital for autopsy and are looking for the murder gang. Due to this incident, more than 40 policemen have been mobilized as there is a tense situation in Madambakkam panchayat.
