KandJu Deploys Truck to Deliver 22,000 Jujubes in Granby

KandJu is deploying a special Emergency Resupply activation in Granby for Halloween night, sending a truck equipped with a giant candy bucket to distribute 22,000 jujubes to trick-or-treaters after reserves run out.

KandJu organized the Emergency Resupply operation to combat a common Halloween disappointment: homes going dark early because their candy supplies ran dry before the evening ended. Granby streets will see an unexpected arrival on the evening of October 31 as a dedicated candy relief brigade Kandju hits local neighborhoods.

The field activation features a marked delivery van outfitted with a giant replica of the brand’s signature candy container. This mobile unit will patrol local routes to replenish empty candy bowls and keep the celebration going for families on the ground.

Company leadership notes that the initiative aims to prevent premature shutdowns in neighborhoods where enthusiasm outpaces household reserves.

At Halloween, indulgence and pleasure should never be rationed, said Marie-Ève Gladu, co-owner of KandJu. With the Emergency Resupply, we wanted to thumb our noses at evenings that end too fast and offer a dose of pure, generous magic on the ground.

The scope of the distribution involves handing out a total of 22,000 jujubes across the city’s territory. According to corporate organizers, the project is designed to turn an ordinary household shortage into a memorable brand experience.

Nicolas Boisvert, partner and vice-president of creation at LG2, noted that the emergency resupply effort was preceded by a series of teaser videos and humorous content posted across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, alongside influencer content. This first campaign from LG2 for KandJu builds upon a collaboration that officially started earlier in the year.

We chose to solve the problem at the moment it presents itself. This activation turns a mundane shortage into an operation that brings the brand’s promise to life in the field while embracing the festive side of this long-awaited moment.

The wider project credit list includes contributions from creative agency LG2, production and post-production house OKOK, sound studio OKOK, and media agency Dialekta.
