After making waves in the Indian film industry with its representation of Kannada folklore and the climax sequence, director-actor-writer Rishabh Shetty’s Kantara has achieved yet another feat.
Originally made in Kannada, the film was dubbed into multiple languages like Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Tulu as per the demand of the audience. Now, the English version of Kantara has also started streaming on Netflix. While Shetty plays the role of Siva, the film also stars Kishore, Achyut Kumar, Saptami Gowda and Pramod Shetty in lead roles.
It was produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Homebale Films, who also bankrolled the KGF franchise. Arvind Kashyap handles the cinematography while Ajneesh Loknath handles the music. Editors are KM Prakash and Prateek Shetty.
