Four years after its last runway show, Yeezy returns to live presentations as Ye launched the Yeezy Season 01 collection on November 4, 2026, at the new flagship store at 4317 Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles.
Family Gathers at the Los Angeles Flagship
The event marked the first runway presentation for the brand founded in 2015 in four years. During the evening, Ye posed for a rare family photograph alongside his four children—Saint, Chicago, Psalm, and North West—from his relationship with Kim Kardashian, as reported by Papelpop. North West attended the presentation wearing blue hair, matching contact lenses, bleached eyebrows, and facial piercings.
News of the presentation first emerged on November 2 when invitations were sent out via a press release, according to Metrópoles. The newly established retail and presentation venue was named the Yeezy Flagship Droam 1.
The showcase took place at 8:00 p.m. local time on Wednesday. Before sending out the press release, the rapper had also returned to direct consumer sales by offering basic apparel items through the brand’s online store at the beginning of the year.
Brands Sever Ties Following Artist Controversies
Adidas permanently terminated its partnership with the rapper following the 2022 Yeezy Season 9 show in Paris and antisemitic remarks made that same month. The corporate separation followed controversies that also involved posing beside political commentator Candace Owens during the Paris showing.
Balenciaga, GAP, and the talent agency CAA severed ties with the artist, according to nss magazine. In the years following the 2022 backlash, the artist encountered public scrutiny surrounding copyright disputes.

Visa revocations forced canceled concerts in the United Kingdom, and prohibitions barred shows in Italy and Russia, alongside reports involving an ex-assistant and a relationship with Bianca Censori.
The rapper published an open letter in The Wall Street Journal in January 2026 seeking a public retraction and repositioning. In the text, he condemned antisemitism.
He offered apologies to both the Black and Jewish communities. He attributed aspects of his behavior to bipolar disorder alongside an undiagnosed brain injury sustained from a 2002 car crash.
JD Sports started selling leftover footwear in stores and online in August.
As the label steps back onto the runway, it enters a fashion market where consumer tastes and aesthetic references have changed since 2022, presenting questions about whether a loyal audience remains ready to embrace the brand’s values and style.
