Canadian superstar The Weeknd wrapped his four-year After Hours Til Dawn tour on November 5 at TM Stadium Nasional in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, securing the record for the highest-grossing tour by a male artist in history with over $1.3 billion in revenue according to promoter Live Nation.
Stadium Finale Draws 130,000 Fans Across Two Nights in Kuala Lumpur
The two-night finale in Kuala Lumpur drew an estimated 130,000 fans across November 4 and 5 according to concert organiser Live Nation Malaysia, which anticipated crowds of roughly 65,000 each evening at TM National Stadium in Bukit Jalil. The venue hosted the culmination of a global run that began on July 14, 2022, at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The final Asian leg expanded from 11 announced dates to 17 sold-out stadium shows due to high demand, including stops in Bangkok and Hong Kong. Over four years, the tour traveled across North America, Europe, the United Kingdom, Latin America, Australia and Asia, with the artist returning for additional runs in nearly every territory to meet ongoing fan demand.
During the opening night in Kuala Lumpur, the artist performed in his chrome mask before removing it 15 minutes into the set to address the stadium reported Malay Mail.

Stadium Tour Sets Historic Revenue Record
Live Nation confirmed that the After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour spanned 176 shows across 67 cities, 30 countries, and five continents, selling over nine million tickets. The $1.3 billion gross makes it the highest-grossing tour by a male artist in history, surpassing Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour. The tour ranks behind only Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres on the all-time touring list. His extensive television appearances include performances on SNL, the 2020 Super Bowl, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, the MTV VMAs, the Grammys, and the AMAs.

The production maintained momentum through its final year by selling more than 3 million tickets and grossing over $500 million in 2026 alone. In July, the tour topped Billboard’s monthly Boxscore chart with over $120 million in monthly gross. The run also established venue records, including seven shows at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium, six shows at Toronto’s Rogers Centre, and six sold-out nights at Paris’ Stade de France.
Artist Donates Millions to Global Hunger Relief
Alongside commercial milestones, Live Nation reported that The Weeknd has donated $8.5 million to the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen to support global hunger relief and education. That total includes $3 million raised in 2026 alone for the United Nations World Food Programme and Global Citizen, bolstered by ticket contributions in Europe and the UK. Operating as a Global Ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme and recognized as Humanitarian of the Year by BMAC, he has donated over $12.6 million to various charities from 2020 onward.

The tour’s Asian leg coincided with the release of the single “Hong Kong” featuring Cantopop icon Faye Wong on October 31, following its live debut on October 24 at Kai Tak Stadium. The four-night run in Hong Kong drew nearly 200,000 attendees, making him the highest-selling international male solo artist in the city.
Public Transport Adjustments for Bukit Jalil Crowds
To manage traffic around TM National Stadium, public transport operator Rapid KL coordinated travel guides advising concertgoers to utilize the Sri Petaling LRT Line to Bukit Jalil Station or park at designated Park N’ Ride lots. Organizers arranged extended train operating hours until 12:30 am following coordination with Federal Territories Minister Hannah Yeoh and Prasarana Malaysia Berhad, according to Live Nation Malaysia managing director Paramananthan Rajagopal.
