Inter-School Karate Competitions were held at Nift-D College, Tirupur.
District Level Inter-School Hiroshiha Karate Championship was held at Nift-D Textile Design College, Mudalipalayam, Tirupur. The tournament was presided over by Jayasitra A. Shanmugam, Treasurer of Tamil Nadu Amateur Kabaddi Association and Secretary of District Kabaddi Association.
In this, more than 500 students from more than 10 schools in Tirupur district participated. Kangayam Vivekananda Academy School won the overall champion title in these competitions and Avinasi Nachammal Vidyavani School, Tirupur A.V.B. Trust School came second and third.
Nift-D College Principal KP Balakrishnan, College Administrative Officer Mahesh Kumar, Sri Puram Foundation Trustee Siva Kumar and many others participated in this program. Warriors Karate Academy S. Ravichandran made arrangements for this competition.
