Karen Aghamalyan, who will lead the team going to Baku, speaking about the mood and preparation of the boys, emphasized that all of them are in a fighting mood.
“Everyone’s mood is fighting. The gathering is going as planned. The boys clearly understand where they are going and why. It doesn’t matter to them where they enter the ring: Baku, Russia or Brazil.”
According to Karen Aghamalyan, athletes realize that it will be difficult to succeed in the capital of Azerbaijan.
“Everyone knows that it will be very difficult, because there will be a tense atmosphere, but if you look into the eyes of the boys, you will see that they are ready. I can’t promise anything, but we will do everything to get out of this ordeal with honor. “Five of the six boxers going to Baku are experienced and there is no need to train them,” Aghamalyan concluded.
Let’s remind that Artyom Aleksanyan (49 kg), Narek Abgarian (52 kg), Aram Avagyan (56 kg), Samvel Barseghyan (60 kg), Hovhannes Bachkov (64 kg), Nikol Harutyunov (81 kg) will participate in the Baku games.
