The three-room apartment is located in a 17th-century building on the Quai Voltaire and overlooks the River Seine and the Louvre art museum. It is 260 square meters in size, and has a 50 square meter changing room.

Lagerfeld lived in the apartment for about ten years before his death in 2019, and he completely renovated it into a futuristic style with concrete floors and sandblasted glass, according to the notary.

During his lifetime, Karl Lagerfeld was one of the biggest names in the world of fashion, and he worked, among other things, as chief designer for Chanel, Fendi and his own brand.
