On Friday, September 15, following the invitation of , the Mayor of the Heroic Island of Kasos, Michalis Erotokritos, welcomed to his office, the successful candidates of the 2023 Panhellenic exams and now first-year students in tertiary and post-secondary education.
In a lavish ceremony they were honored for their success,
1. Panagiotis Baklagis for his admission to the IT and computer engineering school of the University of Western Attica,
2. Yiannis Emm. Sofilas for his admission to the AEN masters school, and
3. Katerina Arpatzi for her admission to D.I.E.K. Kalamatas with specialty Pharmacy assistant.
In this symbolic ceremony which is now an institution for the Municipality, the Mayor of H.N. After congratulating all the winners, Cassou wished good strength and good progress on the new page of their lives. He also emphasized that the Municipal authority will always be close to the young people of our island, while at the same time he wished that the young people of the island, with the knowledge and resources they will acquire in the future, will in turn remain close to their island.
