Kaspersky Lab will prepare application developers for its own OS

Kaspersky Lab has developed a training course for programmers who will be able to create solutions based on the public version of the operating system (OS) KasperskyOS Community Edition. Andrey Suvorov, director of business development at KasperskyOS, told Vedomosti about this. The beta version of the course has been published on the Stepik educational platform, Vedomosti was convinced. According to Suvorov, the company placed the course on the platform in early September, its public version should appear in October.

The course will allow the company to create an ecosystem of application applications based on its own OS by external developers, Suvorov explained. As follows from the information on the educational platform, the first part of the course is devoted to general concepts of cybersecurity, and the second “provides practical skills in using KasperskyOS to develop cybersecurity solutions.” But the information obtained can be used in other operating systems and development environments, Suvorov assures.
