Kieran Hayler,Katie Price’s Ex-Husband,Faces Rape and Sexual Assault Charges
A former husband of British media personality Katie Price has been formally charged with multiple serious offenses,including rape and sexual assault. Kieran Hayler, 38, appeared in court this week regarding allegations stemming from incidents reported to have occurred in 2016.
the charges against Hayler include three counts of rape and one count of sexual assault. Authorities state the alleged offenses took place at a private residence in West Sussex.
Hayler made a brief appearance at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, November 29th, where he only confirmed his personal details – name, date of birth, and address – during the proceedings. According to reports, he was not required to enter a plea at this stage.
The defendant’s marriage to Price, a well-known television personality and model, ended in divorce following their union in 2013. Investigators have confirmed that the alleged victim is not connected to either Hayler’s or Price’s families.
Following the hearing, Hayler, a resident of West Sussex, was released on bail with a strict condition: he is prohibited from any contact with the alleged victim. He is scheduled to appear at Lewes crown Court on December 17th for a plea hearing, where he will be formally asked to enter a plea to the charges.
