Kazipara station of metro rail is being opened from Friday (September 20). Metrorail will stop at this station from 3:30 PM to 10:00 PM on this day. Apart from this, the metro rail will run 7 days a week from tomorrow. 20 lakh 50 thousand taka has been spent so far to make the station usable.

Managing Director Mohammad Abdur Rauf told reporters this information at the head office of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) on Thursday (September 19) afternoon.

DMTCL MD said that train movement is starting from September 20. On this day, the Metrorail will run commercially on Uttara North to Motijheel route from 3.30 pm to 9 pm and from 3.50 pm to 9.40 pm on Motijheel to Uttara North route with 12 minutes headway (time between two trains).

He said that the damaged Kazipara metro rail station will be operational from Friday. Efforts have also been made to speed up the functioning of the damaged Mirpur-10 metro rail station. Necessary activities are in process.
