Kevin McCarthy elected Speaker of the US Parliament after a long tussle..!!

Washington: Kevin McCarthy was elected as the Speaker of the US Parliament after a long tussle. McCarthy, a Republican, was elected Speaker after 15 rounds of counting. Despite holding 13 polls in 4 days, the election of the Speaker continued to be delayed. This is the first time in 163 years that the United States has not been able to elect a Speaker.
