BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has returned home after receiving treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital for 12 consecutive days.
On Tuesday (July 2) at 6:40 pm, he reached Gulshan residence Feroza from Bashundhara residential area hospital.
Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of BNP’s media wing, said that Khaleda Zia returned to Gulshan residence from the hospital after treatment with the permission of her doctors.
Khaleda Zia left the hospital at 5:30 pm on Tuesday. At this time, the party leaders and activists went to his house with his convoy shouting slogans.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anyi, Standing Committee Member Begum Selima Rahman, Joint Secretary General Khairul Kabir Khan Khokon, Self-Reliance Secretary Shirin Sultana and others went to see Begum Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan residence.
Incidentally, Khaleda Zia’s heart was implanted with a pacemaker on June 23. The former Prime Minister of BNP is undergoing treatment on the advice of a medical board consisting of local and foreign doctors.
Khaleda Zia was admitted to the CCU of Evercare Hospital last June 21 midnight when her breathing problem increased. On October 27 last year, three expert doctors came from the United States to operate on the blood vessels of Khaleda Zia, who was suffering from liver cirrhosis.
BAP informed that 79-year-old Khaleda Zia is suffering from diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, lung, liver, kidney and other complex diseases.
