Kiara Advani Joins Yash in Action-Packed ‘Toxic’
Bollywood star kiara Advani has been confirmed as the female lead in Kannada superstar Yash’s upcoming film, “Toxic: A Fairy tale for Grown-ups.”

The makers of Yash’s highly anticipated film, “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups,” revealed on Sunday that Kiara Advani will star alongside the Kannada superstar. The proclamation came with a captivating first-look poster featuring Advani as Nadia, poised dramatically on a circus stage.
While the full cast remains under wraps, rumors suggest Rukmini Vasanth may also appear in a significant role, though confirmation is still pending. The geetu Mohandas-directed project promises a blend of action and drama, appealing to a broad audience.
What makes “Toxic” stand out from other action films? The movie is being filmed simultaneously in both English and Kannada, ensuring a wider reach and potential for international appeal. It will subsequently be dubbed into Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.
Earlier this month, the release date for “Toxic” was set, placing it in direct competition with “Dhurandhar 2,” the sequel to the popular espionage thriller starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar. Both films are slated to hit theaters on March 19, 2026.
Behind the camera, National Award winner Rajeev ravi is handling cinematography, while Ravi Basrur, celebrated for his work on the “KGF” films, is composing the music. Ujwal Kulkarni,who previously edited “KGF: Chapter 2,” is overseeing the editing process for “Toxic.”
Hollywood action director JJ Perry, renowned for his contributions to the “john Wick” franchise, has been brought on board to choreograph some of the film’s most ambitious action sequences, calling the project a “banger.”
Production design is led by TP Abid,with Mohan B Kere serving as the art director. “Toxic” is a collaborative effort between venkat K. Narayana and Yash, produced under the banners of KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, respectively. The screenplay is credited to yash and Geetu Mohandas.
