During his meeting with a Russian military delegation led by Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un expressed his country’s and people’s support for Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine.
The Korean Central News Agency reported that the need for military cooperation between the two countries to ensure mutual security was emphasized during the meeting.
Kim Jong Un also affirmed his country’s solidarity with Russia in its special military operation in Ukraine, and expressed his support for the Russian armed forces, noting that they are fighting for justice for the country’s sovereign rights and security to protect.
Kim Jong Un emphasized that the armies of North Korea and Russia, which have historical traditions, must unite more to play an important role in regional and world peace and protect international justice.
Kim Jong Un noted the importance of his meeting last June with President Vladimir Putin and expressed his expectation of deepening military cooperation between the two countries.
Earlier, the state-run Voice of Korea radio reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un received a Russian military delegation headed by Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko.
