Washington: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un is reportedly the only leader to hold former US President Donald Trump hostage since stepping down. According to reports, Trump has repeatedly told his loyalists about this. Moreover, Trump has told relatives that he has been in contact with Kim several times and discussed matters.

Maggie Heberman, a journalist with the New York Times, writes about Trump in her new book, The Confidence Man. Even before the book came out, this information contained in it is now being discussed. Maggie Heberman, author of the book, told CNN that Trump had repeatedly confirmed his close relationship with North Korean President Kim Jong Un.

Trump has often spoken of his relationship with Kim. In 2018, Trump said he and Kim were in love. Trump also claimed that there were correspondence between the two. Relations between the United States and North Korea are not going well. Meanwhile, Trump’s claim that he still has a close relationship with Kim. It is an offense under U.S. law of 1799 for private individuals to negotiate with the authorities of other countries without permission.

Although the book’s reference is controversial, neither Trump nor his associates have commented. Similarly, the US State Department, the White House and the Office of the President declined to comment.
